Third Delft Dentist Day: Free treatment for acute dental problems for vulnerable Delft residents during Dentist Day 2024
On Dental Day 2024 scheduled for March 16, marked by the theme "Healthy Smiles for All!", Delft Dental Practice welcomes the community of Delft for a special day dedicated to oral health. This day, now being organized for the third time after the great success and appreciation of previous years, is an initiative to help vulnerable Delft residents, who normally cannot afford dental care, with their dental problems free of charge.
Dedicated care for vulnerable community members!
Again this year, we are focusing specifically on the vulnerable groups within our community. The Delft Dental Clinic will use its experienced team of dentists and dental hygienists to address a wide range of dental problems. These free services range from general checkups and fillings to extractions, with the goal of relieving pain and improving overall oral health.
Educational education for sustainable oral health!
In addition to treatments, we also offer educational sessions at Dentist Day 2024. These sessions are designed to create awareness about the importance of oral health and offer practical tips on self-care, the impact of nutrition on teeth, the relationship between oral health and general health, and the impact of medication on oral health.

Collaboration with local organizations
Delft Dental Practice is working closely with local organizations this year to make Dental Day 2024 possible. This collaboration increases our reach and impact within the community, allowing us to provide the best possible care to those who need it most.

Terms
- Medication is possible, but you will be referred to a pharmacy. In most cases this is covered by insurance.
- If there are cavities they will be treated on the spot, just as a molar needs to be pulled out. In short, all treatments that can be performed on the spot, we will then perform. This is in the context of emergency/pain with consideration of amount of time we have. We schedule approximately 30 minutes per patient.
- The follow-up appointment is always at your own expense. However, we will communicate this clearly to the patient.
