At the Delft Dental Day 2024, we proved once again that health and happiness go hand in hand. Delft Dental Practice opened its doors wide for a special day dedicated to creating "Healthy Smiles for Everyone!". Especially focused on vulnerable Delft residents who normally do not have the means for necessary dental care.
The day was filled with activities, treatments and educational sessions that gave dozens of Delft residents a new lease on healthy oral health. Our experienced dentists and dedicated dental hygienists worked around the clock to address acute dental problems. These free services ranged from essential dental checkups, fillings, to more complex treatments. Almost all were performed with one goal in mind: restoring our patients' bright smiles.
A highlight of the day was the educational session given by our dental hygienist, who shared crucial tips on taking care of the mouth. The emphasis was on simple, daily routines that can help maintain a healthy smile. Patients listened attentively, armed with the knowledge to protect their new smiles.
The reactions
Feedback from patients was overwhelmingly positive. Many expressed deep gratitude for this "wonderful opportunity" and shared how the day had a significant impact on their self-confidence and overall well-being. "I can smile again without worrying," said one patient, a sentiment shared by many.
During interactions with patients, it became clear that there is a strong consensus on the importance of inclusive oral health care.
