Second Delft Dentist Day: Free treatment for acute dental problems for vulnerable Delft residents during Dentist Day

Life is becoming increasingly expensive, and for many people who have less to spend, that means making choices in how they spend their money. One of those savings includes a visit to the dentist, sometimes resulting in (acute) dental problems. The Delft Dental Practice deals with this on a daily basis, which is why after last year's success they are participating in the Dentist Day for the second time. A Delft edition created especially for vulnerable Delft residents.

On Saturday, April 1, Delft Dental Practice is organizing the second edition of the Delft Dental Day in cooperation with various relief organizations. During this day, people with all kinds of dental problems can get one-time free treatment. Treatments include general check-ups to fillings and even pulling a tooth to take away the pain. "We think it is important not only to help a large number of vulnerable Delft residents get rid of their complaints, but also to draw attention to this nationally growing social problem," said Merve Can dentist at De Delft Dental Practice.

Terms

  • Medication is possible, but you will be referred to a pharmacy. In most cases this is covered by insurance.
  • If there are cavities they will be treated on the spot, just as a molar needs to be pulled out. In short, all treatments that can be performed on the spot, we will then perform. This is in the context of emergency/pain with consideration of amount of time we have. We schedule approximately 30 minutes per patient.
  • The follow-up appointment is always at your own expense. However, we will communicate this clearly to the patient.
